Cinnabar slept in her lap for short periods on the floor of Metro's stall several days after he was born.  There was a very strong bond which was manifesteed after we sold him.  At his new home in California he developed allergies and couldn't eat the hay.  When he was returned , the minute the van crossed the cattle guard at Echo Hill Ranch he began calling and when he was unloaded he immediately put his head on Lee's shoulder and sighed.
